Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Amedabad, Gujarat Department: Data & Analytics Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our analytics, reporting, and machine learning needs. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure the quality, security, and accessibility of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support various business functions.
Build and manage data infrastructure and architecture (data lakes, warehouses, streaming platforms).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Implement data quality checks, logging, and monitoring to ensure reliability of pipelines.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Proficiency in working with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and batch/stream processing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Flink, etc.).
Exposure to DevOps practices and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and cataloging tools.
